\nKasa devices contain an improper authentication vulnerability in the local
\ndevice-management protocol. An unauthenticated adjacent attacker may send
\nmanagement instructions to an affected device without adequate authentication
\nor authorization, allowing modification of the device state or management
\nsettings. Under certain usage conditions involving interaction between the
\nuser, mobile application, and device-cloud service, insufficient protection of
\naccount-related communications may also expose account information.<\/p>\n
Successful
\nexploitation may allow an unauthenticated adjacent-network attacker to perform
\nunauthorized device-management actions and disrupt legitimate user control.
