{"id":24503,"date":"2026-09-16T20:32:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T12:32:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.54iter.cn\/?vuln=cve-2026-89816"},"modified":"2026-09-16T20:32:24","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T12:32:24","slug":"cve-2026-89816","status":"publish","type":"vuln","link":"https:\/\/www.54iter.cn\/?vuln=cve-2026-89816","title":{"rendered":"CVE-2026-89816 &#8211; In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:\n\ndrm: Fix drm_crtc_com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:<\/p>\n<p>drm: Fix drm_crtc_commit leak if signaled when PAGE_FLIP_EVENT is used<\/p>\n<p>Commit 1c6ceeee6ebb (&#8220;drm\/atomic: Fix memleak on ERESTARTSYS during<br \/>\nnon-blocking commits&#8221;) fixed a very similar issue when the event was<br \/>\nallocated by drm_atomic_helper_setup_commit() itself.<\/p>\n<p>However, if the event is allocated in prepare_signaling(), it will also be<br \/>\nset to NULL in complete_signaling(), which prevents drm_crtc_commit from<br \/>\nbeing put in __drm_atomic_helper_crtc_destroy_state().<\/p>\n<p>Dropping the reference when the event is set to NULL at<br \/>\ncomplete_signaling() fixes the leak.<\/p>\n<p>The leak can be reproduced by sending a signal to the thread using<br \/>\nDRM_MODE_PAGE_FLIP_EVENT and using a sw_sync fence to cause the atomic<br \/>\nioctl to block at drm_atomic_helper_wait_for_fences().
